Dear Lamy, read your update on the return of the rose and ESC. I hope it truely preceeds a return to prior standards. Only last week did I discover this web site with the help of two other OBs (Michael Pohoski and Royton Heath). I myself am a relic from the distant past. However you are hard to beat. I came on board in 1950 and was torn away by the events of November 1956. Being an American I was declared persona non grata along with all other Americans, British, and French. Had only 24 hours to pack my bag. I use the pharse "torn away" because if events had proceeded normally I very well may have been selected as head boy for 1957. If not that then I would have most certainly been a prefect. All those perks were denied me due to the politics of the day. Listen to me I have no right to feel cheated in any way. My life has truely been blessed. Thank God for the foundation provided by the school. I could ramble on but I will get to the point and that is please keep me informed of future events that I may attend. Hope you have fully recovered. Hoping to hear from you. By the way I am attached to the US Embassy in Kuwait. Dick
