Clive was my great grandfather. He was born
7/10/1883 in Axbridge, Somerset, UK. He was
an Englishman who lived and worked in the
middle east from around 1910 - 1962 (his
death). He served in the British army.
He was an accountant or burser in Sudan at a
prison then a burser at Victoria college
(English boys school) in Cairo.
He traveled back and forth to UK at
intervals to see family and to take his
family back for holidays or the birth of a
new child. He married an Egyptian Italian
lady named Ines Sophia Procaccia. And had 3
daughter''s and one son. His son was my
grandfather (Owen Anthony Fowles). He is
burried in cemetery in Egypt.
