Death of Rudolf (Rudy) Micallef, ESC 1944-1952

I am writing to advise of the death of my father, <br>
Rudolf (Rudy) Micallef, aged 86, who was an Old <br>
Boy of the English School Cairo from 1944-1952.<br>
<br>
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated at the Church of <br>
the Holy Family, Maroubra Road, Maroubra, NSW <br>
Australia, at 11:00am on Thursday, August 17, <br>
2023, followed by interment at Eastern Suburbs <br>
Memorial Park (Botany Cemetery).<br>
<br>
I would welcome contact from anyone who knew him <br>
at school or was at the school around the same <br>
time.<br>
<br>
Rudy was a lifelong friend of fellow Old Boy, <br>
Richard Hili, who now lives in Staffordshire, <br>
England. <br>
<br>
At the ESC Reunion in Sydney (May 2007), Rudy met <br>
another ESC Old Boy, Anthony de Celis (ESC 1953-<br>
56), who had been living in the same suburb and <br>
attending the same church (Holy Family, Maroubra) <br>
for many years. Tony became a great friend of our <br>
family until he died in January 2021.
