Hello all those who remember me.I was at the ESC from 1940-50, when I lkeft Egypt for Malta, only to return again in 1990 as Malta''s Ambassaor to Egypt( and also non-resident Ambasador to Turkey, Syria, Lebanon and Jordan)
In fact some 500 ex-ESCites gathered in my Embassy Gardens to celebrate the formation of the Cairo Chapter. I left Cairo in January 1998 to "retire" from the Diplomatic Service. A change of Government in late 1998 meant that I was recalled into the service and appointed Malta''s High Commissioner to Australia last October.
I look forward to meeting the ex-class mates who are residing in New South Wales later this month.
