Ducit Amor Patriae

Whilst glancing through some of the older e-mail, I noticed a reference to the
meaning of the ESC motto. It actually means - Love of Country Leads (me). I first
went to ESC in 1936, at the age of seven. The school was then in Bulac, and I was
placed in Transition. After a few years away, I returned to the new Heliopolis
ESC in time to attend third form, and so on. Latin was taught then, and I always
loved it. Too bad they don't teach it now. Ah well, sic transit gloria mundi
