APPALLING SUMMER THUNDERSTORM! Yet a record in numbers and geographical representation - more than eighty old girls, old boys and their guests; from Egypt, Germany, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Switzerland, the USA and even some locals. The span of years at the school ranged from 1921 (represented by a very youthful Jane Grant who is still travelling the world) to the 1950's. It was a great pleasure to greet the school's very special lady, Margaret Sanderson, who first went out to teach at the school in 1936. At 92 she is as attractive and as interesting as ever she was. The Egyptian and American Chapters were represented by Lamy Mahmoud and Mado Zaki respectively. They are both their usual irrepressible selves but refuse to divulge their secret prescription.
