What a lovely sunny day Sunday May 8th turned out to be. It was the day of our ESC OB/OG reunion and this year we had changed, not only the venue but also the timing. This year it was held at the Royal Lancaster Hyde Park in London thanks to an OB, Mohamed Gemei who is the General Manager of the hotel. The location of the hotel and the huge room we were given with its enormous windows felt as though we were out in the park.

About 70 OB's and OG's turned up for a delicious finger buffet with many new faces putting in an appearance for the first time. We sorely missed not having Miss Sanderson and her sister with us as well as Cyril Conway (who was unable to come due to poor health) and his charming wife Brenda. Hopefully they will all be able to join us next year.

It was generally found that the new idea of a Sunday lunch-time meeting was much appreciated as it avoided most people having to dash off for long drives or train rides home.

A BIG BIG thank you to the new organisers Fanny Fraser (nee Kyriakidis), Nabila Harris (nee Sarofim) Lillian Blum (nee Platts) Aziza Fahim (nee Nofal) Eileen Hall (nee Mills) Victoria Tawadros (nee Wassef) for all their hard work in making this a very memorable get-together and with the sincerest hope they will do it all again next year. Also many thanks to you all for taking the time out to come and last, but not least, to Mohamed Gemei for letting us use the premises.
