London Reunion 2017

                                                        June 4, 2017
                                                         London, UK

Location
Capital of England and the largest city in the British Isles, London is home to many world-famous landmarks, including the Tower of London, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Westminster Abbey, and Big Ben, an iconic national time piece. In the 16th century, London became a major centre for banking, international trade, and commerce. The Royal Exchange was founded in this time, providing the roots of London’s banking sector. In 1708, Christopher Wren completed St. Paul’s Cathedral. In the 18th century, London continued its growth with the early stirrings of the industrial revolution. Through the 19th century, London became the world’s largest business centre and gained a reputation in business excellence, which continues today.
London has always been a centre of art and culture.  Some of the greatest and most well-known musicians and bands come from London. Today, London sees over 17,000 musical performances per year across more than 300 venues. In addition to its historical excellence, London houses 3 of the top 10 galleries and museums in the world, hosts over 250 festivals per year, and presents more live comedy shows than any other city worldwide.
